This Aston Martin DB5 model car in British Racing Green is produced in 1/18th scale by Sunstar and is approximately 25cm in length. The main body of this model car is made from die cast metal with plastic molded interiors and detailed parts. The bonnet and doors of the Aston Martin DB5 model car open to reveal interior and engine detail and the front wheels can be steered with the cars scale steering wheel. The DB5 model is famous for appearing as James Bonds car in the Goldfinger, Thunderball and Casino Royal films. The Aston Martin DB5 had a top speed of 145mph and cost £4,500 back in 1963. In 2006 one of the original DB5’s used in the James Bond Goldfinger film was sold at auction for an amazing $2,090,000.
