MGB model cars are produced by AutoArt, and Kyosho. The Model Car is 1:18 scale. The Kyosho MGB Mk-1 pictured above is a highly detailed model car that accurately recreates the classic lines of the MGB Mk-1.
Under the model car's opening boot lies a replica of the 4-cylinder, 1798cc engine that launches the real MGB Mk-1 from 0-60mph in just over 12 seconds, and giving a top speed of approximately 105mph.
Still very popular among British classic car enthusiasts, the MGB was built between 1962
and 1980 in greater numbers than any British sports car. The MGB was the first monocoque
MG and while most were fitted with a 1,798cc four-cylinder, the MGC was available with a 3-litre six-cylinder and, in the case of the V8, the ubiquitous Rover alloy V8.
MGB Mk-1 Features:
- Opening bonnet, boot and doors
- Realistic 4-cylinder, 1798cc engine
- Working Steering
- Detailed 1/18 scale metal body
- Accurate interior with detailed dash and steering wheel
