This fantastic limited edition 1/18th scale Model Icons 1960 Coombs Jaguar Mark 2 3.8 model car is approximately 24cm in length. The body of this model car is made from die cast metal with plastic molded detailed parts. The bonnet, boot and doors of the Coombs Jaguar Mk 2 model car open to reveal life like interior and accurate engine detail.
This is a model of the famous no.84 BUY 12 plated Coombs Jaguar raced by Graham Hill at the Goodwood St Mary’s Trophy in 1962. Runners up in the same event also driving Coombs Jaguars were, Roy Salvadori and Jack Sears. Ken bell, the Jaguar Mk 2 modification engineer at Coombs has authenticated this die cast replica model car.
